Jenny uses the physical form of the book as inspiration. She invests new life into old books, bringing them back to life and transforming them into unique works of art.

I appreciate and absorb the tactility of the book - its weight, texture and smell and leafing through the old pages can bring back memories through all the senses.
I try and read every book before I manipulate and invest new life into them. The experience of leafing through the pages creates ideas and inspiration for each individual book sculpture.
I source the books from second hand bookshops, opportunity shops and from personal donations and I prefer to use historical volumes.
I use a visually captivating paper folding technique for my book sculptures. The folding of the pages mimic a flower or a cog in a timepiece and each book radiates outward in waves of paper folded unto themselves."
The books are accompanied by Prosculpt clay figures and they sit atop their literary throne creating a vessel for emotion, message and imagination.
All Book sculptures are mounted on canvas and are ready to hang.
